A total of 4 Parking spaces are being made available to set up electric vehicle charging infrastructure at the open car park by the mosque and community centre.

The attached pictures show the side of the building, which is the entry point into a future car park which is being built with monoblock paving. The place of worship and the community centre are busy.

The mosque is located in the town centre of Falkirk and is 100 metres by a footway to the pedestrianised High Street, Howgate Shopping Centre and the soon-to-be-built Falkirk Council Headquarters and Town Hall on the former site of Callendar Square Shopping Centre. The site is 5 min from Falkirk High and Falkirk Grahamston train stations and 1 min from the High Street. The location is just off the busy B8080 and close to roundabout that joins the A803. Attractions such as the Callendar Park and the Callendar Park Golf Course are nearby.

The committee would like to explore lease or revenue share by an operator who will operate the EVCI. They are open to other options suggested by the operator. The conversion of the big lot of land also used for parking inside the gate could be a longer-term project
