Mridul Wadhwa, Chartered MCIPD
Director and Co-Founder
Mridul is the director and co-founder of Vahanomy.
She leads the company on business development, strategy, and leads the environmental, social and corporate governance aspects to ensure we are a company that stays true to our purpose and our vision to be a kind company that believes in equality for all, to our colleagues, our customers and the planet, that believes in a future where places will be better connected and smarter to deliver services to residents, a future in which electric mobility, mobility hubs and autonomous vehicles will be used as a service and contribute to the sustainability of our world.
She is the former CEO of Edinburgh Rape Crisis Centre and Forth Valley Rape Crisis. Before these roles, she was the Training and Volunteer Coordinator at Rape Crisis Scotland and Information and Education Officer at Shakti Women’s Aid.
In other roles, Mridul has led, designed and implemented workforce training programmes at Convergys and Mphasis. Mridul has served on the boards of RCMS, Scottish Women’s Budget Group, Equality Network, YWCA: Young Women’s Movement and the Gorgie War Memorial. She has also been an Associate at the College of Policing, England.
Mridul has an MSc in the management of training and development, from the University of Edinburgh; a Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) from The Centre of Therapy & Counselling Studies, Glasgow and is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD).
Mridul is passionate about the environment, human rights, trains and 15-minute cities/20-minute neighbourhoods.
